Coming from Opotiki on State Highway 2:

• Take Back Ormond Road - the first left past Ormond Village. This road is signposted as “Gisborne, via Mangapapa” on a large green sign.
• Turn left down Snowsill Road (the first left). Knapdale Eco Lodge is signposted from there.

Coming from Hawke’s Bay on State Highway 2:

• Turn left at Makaraka, direction Opotiki.
• Turn right approx 5km past Makaraka where the road is sign-posted “Gisborne, via Mangapapa”.
• Turn left down Snowsill Road (the first left). Knapdale Eco Lodge is signposted from there.

Coming from Gisborne:

• From Back Ormond Road take the last road on the right (Snowsill Road) before reaching State Highway 2. Snowsill Road is approximately 8km from the city boundary. Knapdale Eco Lodge is signposted from there.

Coming from the East Cape:

• From State Highway 35 drive into Gisborne City via Gladstone Road or Childers Road. Turn right at the Roebuck Road or Lytton Road roundabout.
• Turn left into Back Ormond Road. Take the last road on the right (Snowsill Road) before reaching State Highway 2. Snowsill Road is approximately 8km from the city boundary. Knapdale Eco Lodge is signposted from there.
